Billericy Community Cinema
Late 2016 - Early 2020
Since late 2016, I have been doing volunteer work at the Community Cinema in Billericay; mainly as their projectionist. I make sure the film goes through without any technical issues and alert the other volunteers if anything does go wrong
Doing this work has allowed me to research about the target audience animation appeals towards (Families) and allows me to get Primary research on what works and what doesn't work so I can have a better idea of what I should and shouldn't do in my works.

After finishing my animation university degree, to help get me out of the house more, as well as to help the community; me and my younger brother are helping out at the shop, working at the till.
This volunteer work will help in getting me more skilled in dealing with social situations that would come in handy for interviews, working in an industry studio and going to public events such as film festivals.

After a few months of searching and waiting, an opening for a part time job was available to me at the small tea room cafe. Doing a variety of different small jobs in the front of the cafe such as working at the till (taking what I learnt from Sense), taking customers' orders and bringing them to them (which could once again help get me improve my social skills) and maybe help me get more used to being around different smells.

After receiving some devastating news in late August 2022 where my planned Master's course fell through due to a lack of applicants, the course itself was cancelled. So, I decided to take another gap year but focus on creating some income to prepare some alternatives just to be safe as well as get some proper work experiences.
To give me some experience of what working freelance could look like, I decided to use my love for art and set up my own commission shop on the website Artistree (a relatively new website exclusive for hosting and processing commissions in a safe professional environment), using my decent following on DeviantArt to bring in some clients.
